Kyrgyz PM emphasizes importance of spiritual and cultural enrichment of citizens at SCO meeting

AKIPRESS.COM - The Kyrgyz Republic has made all possible efforts to enhance authority and importance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the world during its SCO Chairmanship, Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said at the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states today in Tashkent. "We attach a great importance to spiritual and cultural enrichment of our citizens. In the race for economic indexes we should not forget about that human values, culture, art and sport are the most important factors in development of our nations. I should note that history of our countries and nations crossed many times for thousands of years complementing each other. The Great Silk Road serves as a vivid example," the Kyrgyz government's press service cited PM Abilgaziyev as saying.
The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan said the held cultural and humanitarian events, including SCO Women's Forum and other meetings are just the beginning of such contacts.
