Skeleton of ancient shark disclosed in south-west Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - A palaeontologist Vladimir Yartsev said on Instagram that he unmasked a skeleton of the ancient shark in Mangistau region of Kazakhstan, Zakon.kz reports. According to the study, the age of the paleogene shark is about 40 million years.
The palaeontologist told that the skeleton was found in Karakishu rural area on October 19. The length of the finding is about 70 cm.
