AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin during the meeting of PMs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tashkent proposed to create a council on development of digital economy, his press service said.
It might become a platform for development of a mutually beneficial partnership on introduction of new technologies in the SCO member states, he noted.
The diplomat also suggested to expand participation of member states in the mechanisms of cooperation of member states in railway section, speed up launching the automated system of issuance of permits for automobile transportation and approve the joint program of development of auto-roads of the SCO countries.
Mamin urged the SCO countries to apply the international center on development of "green" technologies and investment projects for exchange of modern practices and development of sustainable development strategies created in Kazakhstan.
The next summit of the Council of SCO Prime Ministers will be held in St. Petersburg on July 22-23, 2020.
