AKIPRESS.COM - The average salary in Kazakhstan in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 18.1% and reached 191,000 tenge ($490.48), ranking.kz reported.
A real growth of purchasing power of salaries amounted to 12% during the reported period taking account the inflation.
As a result of September 2019, prices for goods and services increased by 5.3% in a year.
The highest salary in the country is received by residents of oil-rich Atyrau region - 361,500 tenge, which is 89.2% more than the average national level.
The second region on the salary size is Nur-Sultan, where residents get 308,100 tenge, which is 61.2% more than the average level.
The top three includes Mangistau region - 397,300 tenge.
The top 5 comprises Almaty (16.2%) and West Kazakhstan (0.1%): 222,000 and 191,300 tenge correspondingly.
The lowest wages are in Turkestan, Jambyl and Almaty region.
The highest nominal wage in observed in financial and insurance spheres - 484,600 tenge (2.5 times more than the average wage), in mining industry - 418,000 tenge and scientific and technical activities - 334,100 tenge.
The lowest wage in the country is in the education sphere - 122,100 tenge.
