Kazakhstan launches speech control service for presence of defamations and abuses

AKIPRESS.COM - A laboratory of the Turan university in Kazakhstan launched a speech security service turanlingua.com, Informburo.kz reports.
The service can check the content on media or social media for the presence of abusive comments, verbal extremism, unfair advertising and meanings that might lead to judicial processes.
The service developers say that the articles published on media or spoken on social media with the abusive content, defamations and inciting social discord often are vague. Therefore, the courts often are not able to establish exactly wheather there is a sign of criminal offence or not in the contents.
The international fund for human rights Adil soz claims that imprisonment for defamation does not correspond to the international obligations of Kazakhstan in the field of human rights.
