AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakh authorities are working out a state program of support of Kazakh diasporas across the world, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
The program proposes issuance of special licenses for ethnik Kazakhs, the first vice president of the Otandastar foundation Talgat Aduov reported.
"The state program of diasporas is being prepared. By spring 2020, we plan to finish it. The state program will be presented at the management level of the country," Aduov told a business forum in Omsk as part of the interregional forum of Kazakhstan and Russia.
The Otandastar also plans to hold a forum of compatriots, where the state program goals will be voiced.
Creation of public oragnizations, participation in voting, freedom of peaceful rallies fall under political rights of citizens of Kazakhstan.
The Otandastar foundation was founded in 2017 by the order of then President Nursultan Nazarbayev. The goal of the organization is support of compatriots across the world, consolidation of Kazakh diasporas.
The 16th interregional forum of cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan will be held in Omsk on November 6-7 with participation of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
