Turkmenabat cotton factory exports 44 tons of yarn to Turkey

AKIPRESS.COM - Turkmenistan exported 44 tons of 34 numbered cotton yarn produced at the Turkmenabat Cotton-Spinning Factory located in the administrative center of the Lebap velayat to Turkey. The enterprise further increases the production of marketable commercial products, Business Turkmenistan reports.
The factory produced up to 2,8 thousand tons of cotton yarn during the first ten months of this year. In monetary terms, the volume of production amounted to 22 million manats.
The products of the Turkmenabat cotton spinning factory with an annual design capacity of 4 thousand tons are in great demand, both in textile complexes of Turkmenistan and abroad.
Four high-tech sewing and cotton spinning mills operate in Lebap velayat. In the Halach etrap, as well as in the cities of Seydi and Turkmenabat, cotton mills process most of the cotton harvested from Lebap fields and produce one of the most demanded goods on the world market. Undoubtedly, most of this production is cotton yarn from the 14 to the 34 counts.
