Russia to return to Kazakhstan lands leased in Kyzylorda region

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan takes back its 4 land plots from Russia leased in Kyzylorda region, Zakon.kz reports.
The document on ratification of the certain protocol was considered by members of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Agriculture during presentation of the draft law on ratification of the protocol on amendments to the lease agreement of the Baikonur between Kazakhstan and Russia said that 4 land plots of 11.6 thousand ha are being returned.
According to him, the lands are needed for development of the Kyzylorda region and that the return of these lands will not affect the size of payment from the Russian side.
