$10 million worth pharmaceutical plant to be built in Navoi region

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurahmonov met the delegation from China to discuss the Uzbek-Chinese technology park project and construction of the pharmaceutical plant for synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients, CA-News reports with reference to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The pharmaceutical plant will allow to produce active pharmaceutical ingredients in Uzbekistan and to radically change the situation in this sphere, since the country imports active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Some $10 million will be allocated for construction of the pharmaceutical plant, which will lie in Navoi free economic zone.
