AKIPRESS.COM - Weightlifter from Kyrgyzstan Azizbek Kuikeyev has won a golden medal at the weightlifting international tournament in Cyprus.
The first Mediterranean International Masters Open Championships 2019 among veterans was led in Limassol on November 1-3.
in the age category above 55 years and weigh category under 81 kg, Kuikeyev lifted 85 kg barbell in leap and 110 kg in jerk. The overall result of 195 kg brought him the first place and the victory in the championship.
