2 workers died after getting trapped underground as soil collapsed at facility in Shymkent

AKIPRESS.COM - Workers of YugStroyService-N LLP along with the equipment were trapped underground after the land collapse occurred during the excavation works on November 8 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.
A young man was recovered alive. He is currently undergoing outpatient treatment and is in a satisfactory condition.
Two other workers born in 1969 and 1965 died on the spot. Their bodies were recovered and handed over to the ambulance service.
Search and rescue operations lasted about 5 hours.
