Lawmaker asks government to allocate 5 mln soms for kok-boru national game

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Baktybek Raimkulov draw Prime Minister's attention to national sports - kok-boru and salbuurun.
The parliament committee considers the implementation of state budget for 2019 and forecast for 2020-2021. The Prime Minister, cabinet of ministers and heads of state bodies attended the meeting.
"I ask you to assist players and teams, because they live only on sponsors expenses. They do not have enough taikazans (a ring-shaped earthen wall used as the gate during the goat-dragging game). About 5 million soms is needed to install 5 taikazans," he said.
Prime Minister said that the issue would be considered along with the director of the State Sports Agency Kanat Amankulov.
