Interior Minister personally hands over Erdik medal to Chui region police chief critically injured in Koi-Kash

AKIPRESS.COM - The Interior Ministry Kashkar Junushaliyev handed over the Erdik medal to Chui region police department chief Samat Kurmankulov.
Kurmankulov was awarded for his contribution to the protection of public safety and responsible performance of his duties. Kurmankulov was severely injured and hospitalized in critical condition on the evening of August 7 in the village of Koi-Tash during the first attempt to storm ex-President Almazbek Atambayev's house.
On August 12, he was transported to Moscow for treatment.
