French actor Gerard Depardieu becomes Uzbekistan's tourism brand Ambassador in France

AKIPRESS.COM - French actor Gerard Depardieu has become Ambassador of Uzbekistan's tourism brand in France. This was declared by Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov at a press conference on November 11 devoted to the Tashkent International Fair Tourism on Silk Road.
The respective certificate will be handed in to the French actor at a special event.
The French actor came up with the initiative to promote the tourism brand of Uzbekistan in France and all over the world, local media report.
Depardieu arrived in Tashkent last week for shooting of the documentary The Silk Road. The shootings are made from November 6-26 in 6 cities - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Termez, Nukus.
