Government increases speed limit on highways from 90 to 110 km/h in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Government of Kyrgyzstan has allowed drivers to speed up to 110 km/h on the highways with conditions allowing to ensure road safety.
The move is aimed at increasing the traffic potential of some parts of motor roads of international importance, the statement said.
Before this resolution, the speed limit on highways of Kyrgyzstan was 90 km/h.
Now the Transport and Interior Ministries must bring their decisions in line with this resolution.
The new rule comes into force in 10 days after public announcement.
