AKIPRESS.COM - Economic growth in Kazakhstan within 10 months of 2019 was 4.4%, Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov said on Tuesday during the government session, Zakon.kz reported.
"In January-October, GDP growth went up to 4.4%. Growth was due to investment activities, increasing share of small and medium-sized enterprise in GDP and the domestic demand, double-digit growth in the industry, as well as revival of oil production," he said.
According to him, investments grew by 8.2%, growth of real income of the population was 6.4%, share of SME in GDP increased up to 28/5%. industrial production remains sustainable - growth amounted to 3.5%. The processing industry rose by 3.3%.
In addition, growth was observed in mining industry up to 3.7% due to recovery of oil production. High growth pace is also kept in production of base metal ores at the level of 18.0%.
