Transport Ministry plans to restore CCTV cameras on south side of Too-Ashuu pass

AKIPRESS.COM - The CCTV cameras do not work on the south side of the Too-Ashuu pass, said the head of the department at the Transport Ministry Beknazar Bazaraliyev on air of Birinci Radio on Nov 12. "The system was introduced and there was online monitoring of the situation on the pass. Currently, the system works only for production purposes. The essential part of the cameras does not work. We discuss with specialists to restore the system," said Bazaraliyev.
The head of the civil protection and emergency rescue department Ryspek Joldoshbayev said that the corresponding regulations were sent to Transport Ministry and government.
CCTV cameras on the Kolbayev tunnel in the Too-Ashuu pass were installed in 2016.
