'We're turning into Sicily of the 50s,' MP on criminality in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Almambet Shykmamatov raised the problem of criminality in Kyrgyzstan.
"We're turning into Sicily of the 50s," he said speaking at the parliament session on November 13.
He suggested to invite security and law enforcement bodies to parliament to report on the latest crimes.
"Businessman from Madina bazaar was killed, a dead body was found in car boot at the airport, a director of the strategic enterprise was beaten up, businessman Saimaiti who hid 5 billion soms in taxes was murdered in Turkey, while the suspects had Kyrgyz passports. The car used by Saimaiti had Kyrgyz diplomatic plates. Or we just have to pretend we don't notice anything?" he said.
MP called on the law enforcers for action.
