Bishkek hosts discussions on provision of medical services to children

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz State Medical Academy hosted open dialogue and discussions of "The right to health: medical services for children", including school medicine on Nov 13. The open dialogue was dedicated to 30th anniversary of adoption of United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
The event was attended by the lawmakers Evgenia Strokova and Alfiya Samigulina, head of social development department of President's office Ulan Mamatkanov, representatives of ministries, medical, non-governmental, social organizations and funds.
The event was aimed at discussion of implementation of children's rights for health protection and to receive medical aid in Kyrgyzstan.
According to MP Strokova, Kyrgyzstan should promote healthy lifestyle.
