AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Foreign Minister Dilshod Ahatov attended the Paris Peace Forum on November 12.
More than 6,000 representatives of foreign countries and international organizations attended the Second Paris Peace Forum, including 27 heads of state and government, Foreign Ministers of Germany, India, Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, chief executives of UN agencies, OSCE, ICRC, ILO, WTO, EBRD.
President Emmanuel Macron underlined in his address the Paris Peace Forum continues playing a mobilizing role in countering arising complex challenges and advancement of multipolar world.
The French President took a note of successful development of cooperation in several Asian subregions, Central Asia among them.
The heads of delegations handed over books for the Paris Forum library collection on the efforts of the participating countries in bringing peace. The delegation of Uzbekistan handed over the volume For the Sake of Peace, Stability and Progress devoted to the outcomes of the Tashkent International High-Level Conference on Afghanistan held in March 2018.
