Foreign Minister Kamilov, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs discuss security cooperation, environmental projects

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on November 12 in Brussels, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The necessity of the soonest approval of the text of the enhanced partnership and cooperation agreement was emphasized at the meeting.
Security cooperation was considered among other issues. Readiness was expressed to hold the European Union-Central Asia High-Level Dialogue in Tashkent next year.
The Uzbek Foreign Minister thanked the European Union for its contribution to the Multi-Partner Human Security Trust Fund for the Aral Sea region and other environmental projects in Uzbekistan.
