AKIPRESS.COM - 34,200 people has emigrated from Kazakhstan within the third quarter of 2019, which is 8.3% more than the same period of last year, Ranking reports.
A total of 8,000 people arrived in the country during this period - 14.4% less than a year ago. This has increased the negative migration balance by 26,200 people (22,200 in 2018). 84.1% of those emigrated are urban residents.
The highest negative migration balance among Kazakhstanis are from the age of 16 to the pension age - 17,400 people. 8,000 children until 15 emigrated the country.
Within 9 months of 2019, most of Kazakhstanis left for Russia (30,400 people), Germany (2,100) and Belarus (297).
The top 5 countries include Uzbekistan (220) and the U.S. (190). Citizens also emigrated to Kyrgyzstan, Israel, China, Turkey and Canada.
Among those who arrived in Kazakhstan are Uzbekistanis, Russians and Chinese.
