Investment council set up under President of Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The foreign investors council has been set up under the President of Uzbekistan.
The respective order was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the president's press service said.
The main task of the council is to provide consultations for the government of Uzbekistan on investments, industrial, innovative development of the country on the basis of the world best practices.
Th council will be directly involvement into shaping a conducive investment climate and effective mechanisms for encouragement of domestic and foreign investments in priority economic sectors.
The council will also look at the key factors impeding to attraction of investments and investor activities.
The council will include chief executives of foreign companies, banks, investment and other structures, international financial institutions.
