Nazarbayev holds meeting in Samruk-Kazyna national welfare fund

AKIPRESS.COM - The First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a session on management of the Samruk-Kazyna national welfare fund, the press service of the former President said. The participants of the meeting discussed issues of joining of the fund the IPO and providing effectiveness of the procurement activities.
Nazarbayev praised the activities on implementation of the strategy of development of the Samruk-Kazyna for 2018-2028 and stressed the importance of considering the proposal aimed at improvement of the financial condition of the fund and further execution of the privatization plan.
"Samruk-Kazyna is the national welfare fund. Therefore, we, as a Board of Directors, should carry out a work on increasing the population's and businessmen's trust to the activities of the fund. The citizens should understand that it belongs to the nation," Nazarbayev noted.
