Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry urges Kyrgyzstanis in China to be cautious amid Hong Kong protests

AKIPRESS.COM - The Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan published a number of recommendations for Kyrgyz citizens in Hong Kong. Kyrgyz embassy in China recommended Kyrgyzstanis in China to observe safety measures, do not leave their places of residence or educational campuses, do not participate in the discussions of the situation in Xiangang on the Internet and do not go to crowded places in the city.
The embassy along with the consulate general of Kyrgyzstan in Guangzhou are assisting Kyrgyz citizens in China.
2019 Hong Kong protests, also known as the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill (or Anti-ELAB) movement, are an ongoing series of demonstrations in Hong Kong which were triggered by the introduction of the Fugitive Offenders amendment bill by the Hong Kong government.
