Asian World Film Festival winners

AKIPRESS.COM - Los Angeles hosted the closing ceremony of the 5th annual Asian World Film Festival co-founded by Kyrgyz filmmaker Sadyk Sher-Niyaz.
Kyrgyzstanis living in the USA also attended the closing ceremony.
The best film of the AWFF 2019 was Yakutian film The Sun Above Me Never Sets.
The best actor of the AWFF 2019 nomination was won by Stepan Petrov for his role in the The Sun Above Me Never Sets.
Three women won the nomination of the best actress: Arezu Ariapur, Fereshta Afshar, and Hasiba Ibraghimi.
The best director was Dito Tsintsadze from Georgia.
Kyrgyzstani director Bekzat Pirmatov won the nomination for the best debut for his film Aurora.
Nomination established by Golden Globe was won by the Kyrgyz director Suium Sulaimanova.
