One more suspect of Saimaiti murder detained in Turkey

AKIPRESS.COM - One more suspect of murder of the businessman Aierken Saimaiti has been arrested in Istanbul, Haberler reports.
Normokhamat A. was detained with a weapon he used on the day of murder.
The case was handed over to the court.
Aierken Saimaiti was shot to death on November 10 in Istanbul. He was involved in the probe into the withdrawal of $700 million from Kyrgyzstan.
The Turkish police detained three suspects, two of them said they are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. However, according to the State Population Registry, the suspects are not citizens of Kyrgyzstan and were not issued the Kyrgyz passports.
On November 13, the State Registration Service refused to provide information on citizenship of the suspected murderers of Aierken Saimaiti citing the article 6 of the law on personal information.
"The personal data is a confidential information. This is why we can't say whether the suspects are citizens of Kyrgyzstan or not. Citizenship of that or another person is a confidential information," the State Registration Service said.
