AKIPRESS.COM - A protocol on allocation of additional quotas for free treatment of Kyrgyzstanis in Turkey signed within the 72th session of World Health Assembly in Geneva on May 20, 2019 came into force on Nov 11.
Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kosmosbek Cholponbayev and his Turkish compatriot Fahrettin Koca signed additional protocol to agreement between Kyrgyz and Turkish governments on cooperation in the health care and medical sciences spheres concluded on June 3, 2014.
Turkish side pledged to increase the number of Kyrgyz citizens for treatment in Turkish hospitals from 100 to 150 people per year in accordance with the protocol signed in Geneva.
