MP believes that it is unfair to raise payment for people with high pensions, Social Fund disagrees

AKIPRESS.COM - It is necessary to raise the pension payments for those who receive minimum pensions, said MP Ziyadin Jamalidinov at the parliament committee meeting on Nov 18. "The pensions should be increased only for those who receive low pensions," he said.
The chairman of the Social Fund Meder Irsaliyev noted that pension premiums are accounted for those, who worked hard.
Irsaliyev added, that 1,000 soms were added to pensioners who receive pension of 20,000 soms.
Lawmaker was outraged with this fact and said that nothing changed for pensioners with low pensions.
Irsaliyev, for his part, replied that it is fair. "If we increase the pensions for the pensioners with low pension and don not raise for others, this will lead to public dissatisfaction," Irsaliyev noted.
