Information on illegal cutting of trees in Jeti-Oguz forest turns out false

AKIPRESS.COM - The information about illegal cutting of a soft wood in Jeti-Oguz forest turned out false, the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry reported. On the reports appeared earlier on media on alleged cutting of fir trees on the territory of Jeti-Oguz forest, Director of teh Agency Mirslav Amankulov decided to create a commission who will visit the site to check the situation.
The commission members examined the territory of the forest and did not find any fact of illegal cutting of trees. Some 18 trees were damaged and fell after a strong wind.
The material damage from the natural disasters made 26,000 som. On this case, all materials were handed over to the district police.
Employees of the Jeti-Oguz forest are carrying out their planned works on cleaning up the forests from downed and damaged trees.
