Chief of Mongolian Constitutional Court resigns after sexual harassment scandal

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Mongolia Dorj Odbayar tendered a resignation after a scandal with sexual harassment of female flight attendant from South Korea while onboard a Korean Air flight. The resignation will be discussed at the meeting of the Constitutional Court on November 22.
The 52-year-old chief court is accused of groping flight attendant. He paid 7 million wons to the Korean court after the incident before coming back home from the foreign trip last month.
Odbayar is accused of harassing a flight attendant by groping her buttocks on a Korean Air flight from Ulaanbaatar bound for Incheon Airport at 8:05 pm on Oct. 31.
During the questioning in South Korea, the judge was also reportedly asked about allegations that he made threatening and abusive remarks to another flight attendant, a Mongolian national who served as an interpreter during the incident.
