AKIPRESS.COM - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide 34,479.7 million tenge loan for rehabilitation of the Kurty-Kapshagai highway, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan said.
The Kurty-Kapshagai road is a part of the Center-South corridor - the largest project in Kazakhstan linking north and south of the country.
The contractor will be a Chinese company, Chairman of the JSC Kazavtozhol Ulan Alipov noted.
The EBRD participates in implementation of 2 project of construction of the transit corridor Western Europe - Western China for the total sum of $322 million.
The JSC Kazavtozhol signed a loan agreement for a total amount of $196 million for reconstruction of the Kurty-Burylbaital road.
