AKIPRESS.COM - A new school was inaugurated in Kyzyl-Unkur village of Bazar-Korgon district of Jalal-Abad region, Turmush reports. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Parliament Vice Speaker Mirlan Bakirov, Vice Prime Minister Altinai Omurbekova, region and district governors, locals.
Construction of the school started in 2015 and was financed from the central budget.
340 students are enrolled at the school.
Some students had to walk 7-8 km to get to school in another village before.
Each year the government pays attention to education sector. Schools are repaired, the Vice Prime Minister said.
There are 19 schools in state of emergency now. New schools will be built before the beginning of the school year, she promised.
There are 65 schools in Bazar-Korgon districts. 7 of them are unsafe.
