Burning of household wastes and other things at the wrong places is fined 5,500 som for individuals and 17,000 som for entities.

As the weather becomes cold, some citizens use rubber as a fuel for heating ovens and baths in Bishkek.
The mayor's office of the city received complains from citizens about burning garbage at the boiler station of the international university of Kyrgyzstan. Specialists of the sanitary and epidemiological inspection arrived at the place, however, no facts of burning rubber and wastes were revealed.
The inspection earlier established some citizens, who were heating houses with wastes of the garments. In this regard, the fine was imposed for the residents.
The mayor's office urges the residents not to burn the garbage. Smoke from rubber and leaves is a source of carbon monoxide, which is harmful for the population's health and burning badly affects the air quality and harms the biological diversity of the city, the statement says.
