AKIPRESS.COM - The Air Astana announced about its plans to buy 30 737 MAX aircraft, Vlast.kz reports.
The national air carrier plans to buy them for its new FlyArystan lowcoster, the press service of the airline reported.
"As part of the aviation exhibition in Dubai, the Air Astana and the Boeing company announced about the plans to order 30 Boeing 737 MAX planes that will become the foundation of the new FlyArystan lowcoster. Today the companies signed an agreement on plans to purchase 30 jets that cost $3.6 billion," the Air Astana noted.
To date, the airline maintains an increasing aircraft fleet, including Boeing 757, 767, as well as the Airbus A 320. In May 2019, the airline created a FlyArystan to strengthen its competitiveness in the budget-oriented air communications.
The company claims that the new air carrier has already shown its success on sale of tickets.
