Deputy Interior Minister helped detain a man with a knife, 1 officer injured

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Interior Minister Almaz Orozaliyev helped arrest a man with a knife near the White House, MIA spokesperson Karima Japarkulova told AKIpress.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Logvinenko and Kievskaya streets, when police officers tried to detain the man who attacked them with a knife.
Deputy Interior Minister Almaz Orozaliyev helped the officers to apprehend the man.
According to the spokesperson, the deputy minister was not far away and noticed how the officers were carrying out the detention.
"He couldn't stand by and helped," she said.
A police officer was injured while apprehending a man who attacked the passengers of trolleybus No. 2 with a knife, the Bishkek police department said.
The trolleybus stopped abruptly at 12:30 p.m. on November 20 at the intersection of Kiev and Orozbekov streets. A woman-driver ran out of it and asked for help from patrol police officers.
