Tajikistan to produce 2 million tons of coal in 2019

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 1.7 million tons of coal were produced in Tajikistan in 9 months of this year, according to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
This is for 144,000 tons more than in 2018.
Around 10,300 tons of coal were exported. The biggest domestic consumer is the Dushanbe-2 combined heat and power plant. 124,000 tons of coal were sold to population.
The country expects to produce 2 million tons of coal this year. More than 1.9 million tons were produced in 2018.
