'Parliament of Kyrgyzstan would support, if government proposes norms on smoke problem' — MP

AKIPRESS.COM - The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan would support, if the government proposes norms concerning the smoke problem, MP Ulan Primov (SDPK) said during the Parliament session. According to him, the government should take a specific position on resolution of the smoke problem.
"Rubber and plastic are being burned around Bishkek. These things should be banned by law. The government should ban old vehicles that emit exhaust gas and do not meet our requirements. If the government proposes such a norm, the Parliament would support it," the parliamentarian noted.
A lot of plastic containers are thrown alog the Bishkek - Osh and Bishkek - Balykchy highways, he said.
Primov said that these issues are raised only during the winter period.
