Turkmenistan, USA political consultations kick off in Washington

AKIPRESS.COM - The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held the successive round of annual Turkmen-American political consultations in Washington on Nov 20, Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
During the consultations in the USA Department of State, the American side was represented by the Acting Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Ms.Alice Wells.
The exchange of views on the current issues of bilateral agenda took place during the consultations. The participants of the meeting stated the importance of political consultations as an effective tool for considering the present state of affairs and perspectives of deepening interaction between Turkmenistan and the USA in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
The parties reiterated firm adherence to further widening of multifaceted partnership between the two states.
