AKIPRESS.COM - Director of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry of Kyrgyzstan Mirslav Amankulov made a working visit to the forests and natural parks of Talas region, the Agency reported.
Amankulov met with governor of the region Marat Murataliyev and discussed improvement of bilateral cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
Murataliyev said that the region will purchase adapted, checked and quality seedlings in the nursery farms of the Agency.
The two then met with Directors of the forests and natural parks of the region and got acquainted with their problems.
Amankulov also got acquainted with the conditions of nurseries and a new cordon.
There are 2 forests and 2 natural parks in the region. The total area of them is 144,191 ha.
As part of the working trip, Amankulov arrived in the town dump.
