Testing of mobile app for population census ongoing in Osh

AKIPRESS.COM - The National Statistics Committee is continue the testing of the mobile app for collection and processing of the data in e-format in Osh city on Nov 18-27. The current testing is conducted under the financial assistance of the UNFPA and World Bank. According to the Committee, over 200 census takers and instructors will be engages in the testing of the mobile app. The current employees are trained 5 times a day, where they study issues concerning the data collection and processing approach.
The employees of regional agencies of state statistics services across the republic were invited for more detailed familiarization with the practical part of the pilot census. The employees passed two-day training and currently familiarize with the practical part of the census.
