AKIPRESS.COM - People are gathering in the Ala-Too square in Bishkek for a peaceful rally to protest against corruption in the country.
More than 100 people gathered so far.
Anti-corruption rally is a public reaction to the journalist investigation by Azattyk, ОССRP and Kloop agencies claiming that $700 million were withdrawn from Kyrgyzstan by businessman Aierken Saimaiti, who reportedly handed over documents to the journalists proving the corruption before his murder. Chinese citizen Aierken Saimaiti was shot dead at the hotel cafe in Istanbul on November 10 evening.
