146 deals for $1.3 billion signed at Investment Forum in Samarkand

AKIPRESS.COM - The First Investment Forum Invest in Samarkand and the national exhibition of regional producers Made in Samarkand was held on November 22-23 by Samarkand region administration with support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
146 agreements for $1.3 billion were signed at the Forum, including 52 investment agreements for $1 billion and 94 export contracts for $300 million.
More than 310 representatives of 31 countries partook in the Forum, including from China, South Korea, Spain, United States, Italy, Israel, Russia, Japan, India, Turkey, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, etc.
The projects on construction and operation of the new international airport in Samarkand region, amusement park with IMAX cinema, bus and electric engine vehicles factory, tourism, business centers and other projects were presented at the Forum by investors.
