Namangan, Sverdlovsk regions sign agreement on expansion of bilateral ties

AKIPRESS.COM - Namangan region of Uzbekistan and Sverdlovsk region of Russia will cooperate in commercial, economic, scientific, technical, humanitarian and other areas.
The 5-year agreement was signed by Namangan region governor Hairullo Bozarov and Sverdlovsk region governor Eugeny Kuivashev on November 25, the government of Sverdlovsk region said.
The regions will cooperate in supply of agricultural products, cloths, light industry goods, machine building, energy sector, construction, digital technologies, timber processing.
The direct contacts between Sverdlovsk and Namangan regions were set up around 2 years ago, when the regions signed the protocol of intent and since that time cooperate in logistics, health care, education, professional training.
