Mayor Sagintayev calls on citizens to invest in development of Almaty

AKIPRESS.COM - Mayor of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev on November 27 while opneing the Almaty Invest Forum 2019 urged the citizens to invest in development of the city, Zakon.kz reports.
"Now it's a unique time for the most ambitious plans and investments in Almaty. Let's invest heavily in development of Almaty and the success of Almaty will become your success. Now agenda of development of Almaty is being formed for the next 30 years. The main goal is to enter the top 100 best cities of the world on the quality of life and business opportunities," Sagintayev noted.
Not a single cities in Central Asian has such an international credit rankings.
The economy of Almaty is 12.1 trillion tenge (more than $35 billion). This is the 5th of the GDP and a quarter of taxes of the country, Sagintayev noted.
"Almaty is the richest city in Central Asia with the GDP of about $19 thousand.
