KazMunayGaz boosts gas output by 2.6%

AKIPRESS.COM - The national company KazMunayGaz has produced 17,593 tons of oil and gas-condensate within 9 months of 2019 or 483,000 barrels per day, which is in par with the figures in the same period of 2018, Zakon.kz reports.
However, the volume of output of natural and associated gas grew by 2.6% making 6,227,000 cubic meters, according to the report of the company on production and financial results during the reported period.
Specialists say that despite the volatility of the average price for Brent mark, KazMunayGaz could stabilize its financial condition this year. Partially, this is due to the increase of the volume of exports of the Kazakh gas to China and weakening of tenge. Thus, revenue as a result of 9 month of 2019 amounted to 5.1 trillion tenge.
A positive dynamics of the national company is being praised by international organizations as well.
