Salaries of teachers to be raised by 25% in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The salaries of teachers will increase by 25% in 2020, Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov said at the session of the parliamentary committee on social and cultural development on November 28, Zakon.kz reported.
In the August conference, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to raise the salaries of teachers twice within the next 4 years.
According to Aimagambetov, the additional payments are foreseen for teachers with masters degree.
