Kazakhstan repatriates 14 children frоm Iraq

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 14 Kazakhstani children were evacuated on November 27 as a result of the humanitarian campaign from Iraq, the Foreign Ministry reported. These minors are citizens of Kazakhstan that have been in the Iraqi prison with their mothers, who are serving sentence for involvement in the terrorist activities.
The humanitarian campaign was held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the request of mothers and relatives of these children in a close cooperation with a number of state bodies, national non-governmental structures and international organizations.
The Kazakh side thanks Iran and all other sides for help and support.
After some documentation processes, all children will join their relatives.
