50 families receive apartments on First President's Day in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 50 families in Temirtau city of Karaganda region received keys to apartments during the Day of the First President, Tengrinews.kz reported. Governor of the region Zhenis Kasymbek on December 1 arrived in Temirtau to congratulate the residents and hand over keys to the new apartments at the instruction of Nursultan Nazarbayev.
A total of 95 apartments were allocated in Temirtau this year. Three more apartment houses will be built next year.
Kazakhstan marks the Day of First President Nursultan Nazarbayev on December 1 .
It is a public holiday in the country.
Nazarbayev was re-elected as President of Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic on 1 December 1991. On 20 March 2019, he resigned but retained the post of Security Council Chairman, Nur Otan ruling party chairman and member of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan.
