Search operations of missed Kumtor employees continue

AKIPRESS.COM - The search operations of two employees of the Kumtor gold mine continues in Issyk-Kul region, Turmush reports.
A truck driver born in 1972 and an engineer born in 1984 went missing on December 1 at about 5:30 am.
Two off-road cars were found on December 2 during the search operations at the Kumtor gold mine.
As of December 3, those missing have not been yet found.
The search team consists of 56 rescuers. A special equivalent was cleaning up the consequences of the landslide in the gold mine at the night of December 2. Landslide occurred on December 1 at 5:43 am.
According to specialists, the preliminary volume of the landslide is 12 million 497 thousand cubes.
According to the government, Prime Minister Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev ordered to mobilize all efforts for search of the employees and increase the number of rescuers and establish the reasons for the incident.
